OR PreCon

This GPR inspection service is a comprehensive examination of underground remnants condition prior to construction projects. This inspection will confirm the existence of any of the underground-buried objects prior to the transfer of ownership. From the new owner's standpoint, it is important to identify the risk of a large environmental clean-up bill to remove unwanted tanks, utilities and remaining concrete structures, and the expensive task of cleaning the soil if it has been contaminated.

Preconstruction concrete inspection will cover all forms of concrete presence, post tension cabling, rebar, and conduit, plumbing, reinforcing steel, voids, locating utilities, Gas lines

OR Concrete

GPR technology can reduce the time and cost required for a concrete inspection because the results are available onsite in real time. Drilling or cutting through concrete floors, walls or ceilings can be dangerous and very costly if you do not know what is under the surface. We can accurately & quickly locate rebar, find conduits and identify post-tension cables. We can also measure concrete thickness and locate voids in concrete and sinkholes below the ground surface.

To save the costs of damaging conduits & post-tension cables and even possibly physical harm to the person doing the coring or cutting, 3D 2’’ grid is recommended, but it takes a little longer to collect the data. In addition to scanning and marking the site for objects located in a concrete inspection, we provide detailed mapped reports. Our reports include diagrams of the scanned areas with locations and depths of located anomalies plotted to scale. This can be used for pre-engineering or just save you money down the road if you need to do further work in that area.

OR Geology

Ground penetrating radar offers an accurate, non-destructive solution to mapping the subsurface of the earthto determine the layers of natural soil deposits that will underlie a proposed structure. Subsurface variations will produce reflections that are picked up by the GPR receiver. These reflections are developed by a variety of material such as geological structure differences like water table, karst, fractures, and stratigraphic rock units.

OR Forensic

Forensic investigation is the application of science to criminal and civil laws. GPR is an effective tool for Forensic investigations. It helps us collect, preserve, and analyze buried evidences during the course of an investigation. It works well for human remains; it may help law enforcement personnel find hidden graves of victims months after a murder. GPR can assist in locating evidence behind brick or concrete walls, wooden floors or in hidden compartments. GPR detects areas of disturbed soil and non-metallic objects that are nearly undetectable using other subsurface investigation tools. GPR locates buried bodies, guns, knives, buried drugs or money, explosives, disturbed soil, tunnels and chambers. Ground penetrating radar can aid in ruling out suspect areas in minutes.

OR Utility

Utility locating is the process of identifying and labeling public utility mains that are underground. These utilities may include lines for telecommunication, electricity distribution, natural gas, cable television, fiber optics, traffic lights, streetlights, storm drains, water mains, wastewater pipes, duct banks, septic systems, and storage tanks. Using GPR, we can mark-out metallic, concrete, plastic conduits and other utilities and services indicating position and depth to the object and map utilities on a site plan.

We collect data for the utility locating survey area in a grid format. Once we have collected the GPR data we can produce 3D mapped reports with interpreted locations. GPR is reliable nondestructive tool to locate and map the depth and position of subsurface metallic and non-metallic pipes before digging, trenching, conducting site assessments or mapping
